Build and manage your trusted contractor network
NDIS accommodation providers rely on trusted contractors for everything from emergency plumbing to routine maintenance. But managing quotes, tracking job progress, and matching invoices to completed work is time-consuming without a system. HousingHub gives contractors their own portal to receive jobs, submit quotes, upload progress photos, and send invoices — all connected to the property and request.

The problem
- Chasing contractors for quotes and updates via phone and email
- No way to compare quotes from multiple contractors on the same job
- Invoices arrive disconnected from the original request
- New staff don't know which contractors to use for which types of work
How HousingHub helps
- Contractors get their own portal — they see assigned jobs, submit quotes, and upload invoices
- Request quotes from multiple contractors and compare before assigning
- Full job history per contractor — see their track record across all your properties
- Contractor profiles with specialties, contact details, and performance visible to your whole team
How it works
Build your contractor network
Add your trusted contractors to HousingHub with their contact details, trade specialties, and service areas. Each contractor gets their own portal login where they can manage assigned jobs. Building your network once means every team member knows who to call.
Assign jobs from requests
When a maintenance request comes in, the manager selects one or more contractors to quote on the job. For straightforward repairs with a known contractor, you can assign directly without a quoting step. The contractor is notified immediately.
Contractor manages through their portal
The contractor logs into their portal to view assigned jobs, submit quotes, upload progress photos, and send invoices. Everything is linked to the original request and property, so there is no confusion about which job the paperwork relates to.
Track performance over time
As contractors complete jobs, HousingHub builds a performance history for each one — including response times, completed work, and invoice totals. Managers can review this history to make informed decisions about future assignments and identify their most reliable contractors.
Compliance and audit readiness
NDIS providers are expected to engage contractors who are appropriately qualified, insured, and accountable for the work they perform in participant homes. The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission looks for evidence that providers have a structured process for selecting, assigning, and overseeing contractor work — not just informal arrangements based on whoever is available. HousingHub supports this expectation by maintaining a documented record of every contractor assignment, quote, and completed job. Each contractor profile can store insurance and licence details, making it straightforward to verify credentials during audits. The platform also creates a clear chain of accountability from the original maintenance request through to the contractor who completed the work and the invoice that was paid. This level of documentation demonstrates the systematic contractor management that regulators expect from registered providers.
